There is a little black and white cat at Crossroads Animal Hospital that was moderately burned but is being treated and will come through. It could possibly be this one.

Ann - any luck from that trail cam? Any animals spotted at all?

The trail cam only shows racoons. We did see a lot more deer prints after that last rain and put out corn but no prints in the dirt from Little Cat...I think we did see some of her prints the first day we were allowed back after the fire...but none since. I really believe she is out there but has gone feral and doesn't come back to the house because nothing is left there. Her mother was a feral cat that my daughter adopted when she showed up at their home...not knowing she was pregnant. A month or so later she brought home 3 tiny kittens...Little Cat and I got to keep two....momma cat, little cat and one of the two I kept were all polydactyl. I think being raised by a feral cat...these kittens were taught to survive...they are all very skittish of people and learned how to hunt. My daughter was able to save momma cat and her other cat and two dogs from the fire...but Little Cat jumped out of her arms and ran...and she couldn't find her before she was forced to evacuate...she is heartbroken and it get's harder and harder to go back to her burnt home looking for Little Cat....There are so many places for Little Cat to of gone especially since the houses on the next street over did not burn and neighbors were not allowed back till 9/28 because of no electricity but they all know little cat and understand how we are searching. I really believe one of these days some one is going to see her probably when she has kittens of her own. Thank you for all that you are doing. ~ Ann
